May not only be Ukraine: the military considers an offensive from Belarus possible, but there are nuances

To spread: Russia can really accumulate its military force in Belarus, but not only Ukraine but also the Baltic States: the first to strike, Estonia, as well as Lithuania and Latvia. This opinion was voiced by the instructor pilot, the military expert and the Colonel of the Armed Forces Roman Svitan during a conversation with Channel 24 correspondents.

The military confirmed the recent statements of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky that the Kremlin can really prepare for an operation from the territory of Belarus. Then the Ukrainian leader reported that this could happen in the summer of 2025. According to Svitan, the Russians are "preparing" for conducting military operations that threaten Ukraine and the Baltic countries.

However, Ukraine can be overlooked - all because the current leader of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko "well understands" that he will then expect his country and the regime. "Lukashenko understands perfectly - as soon as the Russians will again come to Ukraine from Belarus, so the whole Belarusian economy will turn off," the military emphasized. Svitan noted that in the event of real actions from this side of the Armed Forces will be beaten for all military purposes in the territory of Belarus.

As in the case of Russia, where the armed forces attack military facilities and in particular oil refineries operating on the Russian military machine, local refineries will be hit in Belarus. It should "destroy the Belarusian economy". "We will strike for all military purposes. Starting with the Mozir Refinery, ending with Naftan, Bilkali and so on," Svitan said. The military notes that a number of Baltic countries can expect a threat from Belarus.

In particular, Estonia is most likely the first to hit. However, there, emphasized Svitan, are actively preparing for similar threats, accumulating weapons, including rockets. "If this happens, there will be a blow to Moscow," Svitan said. The threat can also expect Lithuania and Latvia. It should be noted that Lithuania is also preparing for a probable attack from Belarus and strengthens the Suvoalka corridor.

It is worth noting that in the State Border Service on April 30, the Belarusian direction continues to remain threatening. However, now the spokesman of the department Andriy Demchenko states, the situation on the border has not changed, and the Russian units in this territory, which could pose a threat to Ukraine, do not observe the military. We will remind, on April 30, Focus found that a blow to Belarus can be applied as a tool for additional pressure on Ukraine and NATO countries.
