There is no transport for the bay, and hotel owners are not taken responsibility...

Beach season in "red" zone: as in the bay under fire rest tourists (video)

There is no transport for the bay, and hotel owners are not taken responsibility for the danger during rest. Despite the daily shelling of Odesa region, local entrepreneurs did not refuse to receive tourists in their hotels, at recreation and cafes. Many do not have shelters, but it does not prevent them from placeing holidaymakers. The rack is risky in the Gulf and how much it costs, said in Hromadske.

As the leadership of the Odessa region stated because of the threat of shelling the entire coastal strip from Odessa to Belgorod-Dnestrovsky is considered a red zone. However, since the beginning of summer, hotel owners began to actively advertise them on social networks. Journalists called the first announcement - and they confirmed that people were accepting.

Now public transport does not go to the bay itself, because the Russians have repeatedly fired at the local lifting crossing between the sunny and central regions of the Gulf. So now the vacationers will come by bus or train to the neighboring village of Karolino-Bugaz, and from there they walk a few kilometers on foot, or mostly they are now going here on their cars.

In order to get from Odessa to the central district of the village or further-to Belgorod-Dnestrovsky, it is necessary to go to a detour of more than 100 km through the border strip with Moldova and the checkpoint "Palanka", where border guards are closely checking men of the reasonable age. Journalists booked a room in the hotel complex in the Limansky area. It is located in the area of the most convenient in logistics - the closest to Odessa.

Local people say that the local "Zhduns" give the occupiers information about the probable whereabouts of the Ukrainian military. For the most part, there are no shelters in my place, and hotel owners agree with each other to let people into the basements. "With the shelters is difficult. But there is a basement near the neighbor. We have already started to negotiate with it. There you can put chairs, water," - says Mikhail Vanyushin, the owner of the hotel complex.

The shops and shops are mostly closed, so people have to go for products to Odessa. The building with a basement is 70 meters from the hotel, which Michael says, once was a supermarket and a small entertainment children's complex. Now everything is closed, like other stores in the area. "Something is not so atmosphere, because there are no people. It looks like a abandoned city. But this is a peculiarity in this-quiet, calm,"-say the boys-readers who came from Vinnitsa.

They say they were not interested in where the shelter was. "As it will be, so it will be. Well, we think that we are hidden somewhere if there is an shelling," they comment. The owner of the hotel, Mikhail Vanyushin, planned to receive tourists as early as 2022, but then there was no wish to rest. In 2023 he did not open because of Kakhovskaya TPP, which made the sea dirty.

This year, he decided to take the risk because it has debts and the need to maintain the condition of its complex, and the state has never canceled the real estate taxes. For the year, more than 100 thousand hryvnias are released for Michael. He owed the state twice as much. The owners of the cafe also admit that they are at risk because they cannot predict what the flow of people will be.

"And how many people die in an accident? And how many rockets or mines in the sea? Compare," - rhetorically answer the question, whether the tourists who are waiting with such a filled menu will be afraid here. Given the inflation and the increase in the cost of utilities, prices in cafes are planned to be raised by 30% compared to 2021. And Michael, on the contrary, asks the lack of demand as less than until a full -scale invasion. Previously, Junior Suite cost 1650 UAH, now - 1350.

The standard double room in June costs 950 UAH. The kitchen at the hotel also works, though the menu is slightly more modest than it was before. For 200 hryvnia you can dine, and breakfast with omelette, cheese, pancakes or oatmeal will cost within 60-80 UAH. "If no one has canceled taxes, so we must work. Of course, I cannot say that I guarantee you one hundred percent safety. Even in a peaceful life happens differently.

Not at my hotel, but there were times when someone was sinking in the sea or someone It was bad on the beach. According to him, no ban was imposed here. In addition to arrivals there is a threat of marine mines, so vacationers are offered bathing in the pool. The hotel owner tells that at first his hotel was most often rescued by Kiev, but now tourists from different regions of Ukraine are calling. In particular, Kharkiv residents consider the Gulf as an opportunity to be away from shelling.
