According to an expert on weapons with Janes Information Services, Ukrainians have developed a version of a rocket for terrestrial combat and, apparently, used it on a valuable Russian system last week. "Ukraine has changed the flight trajectory compared to the basic configuration (sliding by the sea)," Rakhul Udoshi explained in an interview with journalists. It is reported that the terrain sensors, radio and data channel have been changed for this purpose.
"The rocket launchers have increased the range compared to the anti -ship," he added. The result was an extremely powerful and devastating accurate "Earth-Earth" rocket, "developed mainly for the defeat of especially important goals, such as air defense. " Apparently, this is exactly what happened in the Crimea. The Neptune modified rocket struck the target with high accuracy.
