The office of the Ukrainian Ombudsman stated that two sisters were in the occupied territory with a grandmother, who did not want to give their mother, who returned from captivity of the Russian Federation. Ukraine has returned from the occupied territories of two girls who have not seen the mother from the beginning of a full -scale invasion of the Russian Federation. This was stated by the Commissioner for Human Rights Dmitry Lubinets in Telegram.

According to him, 5- and 12-year-old sisters divorced their parents and all this time were with their grandmother. But she refused to transfer the children of the mother, who also returned from the Russian captivity. "After the girl's mother, our office has developed a mechanism for their return with the Russian side. Fortunately, everything was possible. Currently, the family has reunited," Lubinets said. He stated that he continues to work for every Ukrainian child to return home.

It should be noted that on July 7, Lubinets reported that Ukraine had returned the bodies of the soldiers of the Armed Forces who were killed in Olenovka. Ombudsman stressed that people who had the official status of prisoners of war were killed in Olenovka. They were verified ICCH. On July 11, it was reported that the dead boy from Rivne became a donor and saved three children.
