The sanctions lists also include separately the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and the external intelligence service of the Russian Federation. In total, 87 individuals and 34 legal entities have been introduced into the new package of EU sanctions. "Russia must immediately end this cruel war. The European Union will adamantly support Ukraine as much as it will be needed and remains adamant in its support of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity," the EU Council noted.
