The US company ExxonMobil officially informed the authorities of the Russian Federation that it would sue if they do not allow the company to get rid of 30% in the Sakhalin-1 project operator. According to The Wall Street Journal, this is the first step in the procedure of pre -trial settlement, but in this case it means that ExxonMobil does not hope for him, they say sources of the publication.

It can last for years, but a favorable verdict will allow to turn on Russian assets. It is known that transactions with share of foreigners from unfriendly countries in strategic projects since the beginning of August have been blocked by Vladimir Putin's decree.
