According to the head of the Kremlin, new ships are designed to increase the combat potential qualitatively, and the dynamics of the transfer of Navy ships is increasing. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that this year the Russian Fleet will be strengthened by at least 40 new ships. New ships are intended to increase combat potential qualitatively, the message is stated. The President of the Russian Federation also emphasized "growing dynamics, regarding the transfer of Navy ships. " The Fleet of the Russian Federation should be protected from attacks even on distant approaches, warned by the Kremlin head.

The Russian Navy ships used will be completed with additional firearms, and the state defense order will plan at least "by the middle of the century".
