Share: The Russian Federation is increasingly equipping its Shahed attack drones with rear-view cameras, as evidenced by photos of downed UAVs. Video from the additional cameras of "Shakhed" is transmitted to Russia through a radio modem. Ukrainian specialist in radio technologies Serhii "Flash" Beskrestnov called on Ukrainian crews of interceptor drones to pay attention to this.

According to the expert, "Shakhed" with rear-view cameras can be immediately recognized by the two antennas on the edges of the tails. He also published the corresponding photos. As "Flash" notes, at the moment it is not known exactly what function UAVs with such cameras perform. They can conduct reconnaissance of flight corridors or perform evasive maneuvers when approaching Ukrainian anti-aircraft drones.
