Strengthening air defense, steps to fair peace and reliable security guarantees: a meeting with a NATO Parliamentary Assembly was held in the Presidential Office
The Deputy Head of the Presidential Office of Ukraine, Igor Zhovkva, met with the NATO Parliamentary Assembly delegation, headed by her President Marcos, and as part of the deputies of the National Parliaments of Portugal, Finland, Spain, Italy and Turkey. Igor Zhovkva thanked the delegations for a visit to Ukraine and support. He informed the consequences of recent Russian shelling and stressed that our state needs additional air defense systems and missiles to protect people.
The main topics of the meeting include strengthening Ukraine's defense capability, in particular thanks to investments in the Ukrainian defense industry and the creation of joint ventures in the field of weapons. Particular attention was paid to the negotiation process aimed at achieving a fair, comprehensive and prolonged peace. The deputy head of the Presidential Office confirmed the readiness of Ukraine to immediately establish a complete, unconditional ceasefire.
