Not Energy: GUR named the priority goals of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation during shelling of Ukraine

According to the intelligence representative Vadim Skibitsky, the enemy changed tactics and began to attack Ukrainian objects of the defense-industrial complex. The threat to critical infrastructure remains. Russian invaders continue to make massive missile strikes in Ukrainian cities, but there are some differences compared to last year's shelling.

This was stated by a representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense (GUR MOU) Vadim Skibitsky in an interview with RBC-Ukraine. According to him, the current missile attacks of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are not aimed at the energy of the Ukrainian side, as it was already last winter, but on objects of the defense-industrial complex. However, the threat to the power system did not go anywhere.

"Today, the main efforts of the Russian Federation are focused on the destruction of our infrastructure facilities. These are first and foremost objects of our defense-industrial complex, headquarters, management systems and individual units located on the front lines," Vadim Skibitsky said. Separately, the representative of GUR MOU stated that the Russians could not achieve the goals they set. This is due to many factors, including some weapons.

The fact is that the "dagger" missiles used were very inaccurate and the civilian population suffers from them. In addition, in the near future, blows on energy objects can still be renewed, because it is likely that the enemy continues to monitor their condition. "Military intelligence is clearly aware that they have conducted an analysis for strikes in our energy facilities in 2022-2023.

The Russians identified the most critical objects that can be amazed by rocket weapons, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles," he continued Vadim Skibitsky. Further, a representative of GUR MOU added that the Russians conduct space shooting of our energy facilities to attack them at any moment. Accordingly, the threat has not gone anywhere. We will remind, on January 13 it was reported that the Russian Federation changes tactics and rocket strokes will be less massive.
