Experts study the flagship drone of the Russian Federation captured in battle: why it is important for the Armed Forces (video)

Experts began to explore SuperCam drone, which is considered a flagship among the unmanned systems of Russian invaders intended for aerial photography and video monitoring. This was reported by KNISE Director Alexander Ruvin in his Telegram channel on Monday, October 16.

According to him, the drone, captured by the Ukrainian military, was launched by the enemy from the occupied territory of Eastern Ukraine. It is important for researchers to accurately determine the type and type of technology, to investigate the components and to establish the technical characteristics of the drone. The results of the study will be transferred to the relevant law enforcement agencies of Ukraine and are important for strategy, tactics and security.

This drone is intended for aerial photography and video monitoring. Aerial photography is used to create cards and plans, and video monitoring makes it possible to observe the territory or objects in real time. Judging by the technical characteristics published by Alexander Ruvin, experts are currently exploring the SuperCam drone S350. Such a UAV is equipped with a parachute, through which planting is carried out, and starting is possible with the help of elastic or pneumatic catapult.

Flight can be made in two modes: automatic or semi -automatic. As a useful load, the drone carries a camera of 20/24/42/60 MPIts, thermal imager and/or HD-video camera with 10/33-fold optical zoom, the possibility of combination and a laser target. There is a multi -inspest camera on board, radiation background measurement sensor, laser gas analyzer and scanner.

The additional equipment indicates the automatic support and maintenance module, 2- or 3-system, two-range geodetic class receiver, wide-band protected video channel with data transmission of 50-100 km, as well as command and telemetric radio linen with the ability to operate in the mode of pseudo-robot.
