Royal Pay Europe was founded in 2016 by Russian citizen Sergiy Kondratenko I, according to the media, is a partner of the infamous Russian bookmaker 1xbet and can translate payments to offshore bookmakers and online. In 2017, Royal Pay Europe was licensed to establish electronic money in Britain, which gave it the right to accept payments and serve card agreements in European and British jurisdictions.

According to the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, the sanctions for Royal Pay Europe have been introduced for 5 years. They provide for blocking its assets in Ukraine, a ban on the withdrawal of its capital outside the country, suspension of the fulfillment of financial and economic liabilities, as well as a ban on participation in the privatization and lease of state property and the restriction of the rights of the said company to dispose of securities.

The State Financial Monitoring Service of Ukraine has already blocked over UAH 2 billion in accounts related to Royal Pay Europe. "This means that they are preserved for further confiscation within the framework of the current legislation and the restoration of Ukraine," - writes the Mirror of the Week.

According to sources in the office of the President of Ukraine, the Head of State and the NSDC, after the wide resonance caused by the subversive activity of the Russian bookmaker 1xbet, seriously undertook his attempts to enter the Ukrainian market.

It is reported that the next sanctions will be included in the Russian bookmaker, LLC "Your Betting Company", which represents 1xbet in Ukraine, and three Russian citizens, which are the founders of 1xbet - Roman Semiokhin, Sergey Karshkov and Dmitry Casorin. In addition, the possibility of sanctions on other Ukrainian companies that helped the Russian bookmaker enter the Ukrainian market is not excluded.

It is known that in the spring of 2022, in the midst of a full -scale invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, the Gambling Regulation Commission and Lottery issued two licenses to the Russian bookmaker 1xbet to work in Ukraine.
