Thousands: Arahamia told how many prisoners can mobilize to the army

It is unknown how many prisoners in Ukrainian prisons will sign a contract with the Armed Forces. This requires the consent of all parties. Potentially, defense can mobilize from 15 to 20 thousand Ukrainian prisoners. About this, according to UP, said the chairman of the parliamentary faction "Servant of the People", a member of the Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence of David Arahamia.

He noted that the total resource of prisoners who can fall under the appropriate criteria is 15-20 thousand people. However, it is unknown how many of them will agree to sign a contract with the armed forces, since this process will happen exclusively with the consent of the parties. "We will be guided that it will be approximately several thousand people," he said.

The People's Deputy added that nowadays prisoners will be able to mobilize to the Armed Forces only after the court's decision on conditionally early dismissal. We will remind, the deputy commander of the 3rd OSHBA of the Armed Forces Maxim Zhorin believes that prisoners could benefit at the front, although they should not count on them in full.

Instead, the captain of the Armed Forces, the military psychologist Andriy Kozinchuk said that several convicts were served in his team, one of whom even for murder, and no problems with them.
