The General noted that under new legislative norms in Russia, it is allowed to call the military service for the mobilization of convicted citizens who serve their sentences or have an outstanding conviction. Meanwhile, Gromov said that convicts, terrorism and other serious crimes are not subject to the law.

"These changes are primarily aimed at involving migrant workers in the Russian Federation," Gromov explained. According to him, nearly 6 million people are currently in the Russian Federation, mainly from Asia and the Caucasus. Of these, almost 50% are natives of Uzbekistan, 30% from Tajikistan, the rest of migrants, natives of Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Azerbaijan and other countries. "There are about 2.
