Through cyberattack to the State Registers, the government extended the period of existing bookings

The Ministry of Economy noted that this does not apply to bookings whose term of validity has expired by December 19, that is, to cyberattacks. In general, they will act no longer than on February 28, 2025. Through the cyber attack on the State Register, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided to automatically extend the valid reservations from mobilization for one month.

At the same time, they will act no longer than on February 28, 2025, according to the website of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine. "This applies to bookings that were valid as of December 19, 2024 and provided in accordance with Resolution No. 76 of January 27, 2023. The decision is related to the temporary suspension of state registers through cyber attacks," the statement reads.

The Ministry of Economy explained that, for example, if the employee's reservation expires on December 20, 2024, it will be automatically extended by January 20, 2025. If the reservation is completed by December 19, that is, to the cyberattack - employers will be able to restore it after the register is restored.

We will remind that on December 20 on the Facebook page of the Ministry of Justice appeared an attack of Russian hackers on the state registers of Ukraine, which will be restored for about two weeks. Cybercrimini reported that they not just got to the registers, but destroyed them. It was stated that they first broke the servers and bases of the State Information Systems SE and then penetrated the Ministry of Justice portal.

Subsequently, the focus told what damage the cyberattak had caused the state register. In particular, lawyers warned that until the work is restored, it will be possible to divorce or register the birth of a child, nor hope for social payments or subsidies. Later, MP from the "servant of the people" Alexander Fedienko noted that Russian hackers planned a complex operation. They could recruit a high -access worker, put a flash drive infected with a virus, send a letter with a phishing message.
