Public Joint Stock Company "Energy" is one of Russia's largest enterprises for the production of chemical current sources. The plant is a key battery supplier for the Russian military-industrial complex.

In particular, PJSC "Energia" is the only manufacturer of batteries for planing and correction modules that are installed on aviation bombs. In addition, the company produces power sources for the Tactical and Tactical Missile Complexes "Iskander-M", the winged maritime base missiles, as well as a number of universal batteries used in special equipment. In case of stopping the plant, part of Russian military equipment and weapons can remain without critical nutrients.

This will significantly affect the combat capability of the occupying forces. Recall that on the night of May 22 to 23, drones attacked the city of Yelets, Lipetsk region of the Russian Federation. Residents heard more than 10 explosions. As a result of the attack on PJSC "Energia" a fire broke out and evacuated all employees from the plant. We will add that this is not the first attack of drones on the Lipetsk region. In particular, on February 13, a local metallurgical plant was hit.
