This was announced on Thursday, January 18, by the brigade General of the National Guard Alexander Pivnenko. "The National Guard servicemen captured 7 invaders in the eastern direction," the message reads.

According to the commander, servicemen continue to hold their positions in the appropriate direction. Pivnenko also noted that the enemy tried to move forward, but the Guards repulsed the attempt of the invaders. "Guards who perform tasks in one of the eastern directions hold their positions. As a result of one of the combatants, our fighters repulsed the enemy's attempt to move forward, and also captured 7 invaders," the brigade general emphasizes.

On January 8, journalist Yuri Butusov reported that in one of the areas of the front in eastern Ukraine, the Russian occupier was captured by drone. On the same day, the Lieutenant of the Armed Forces with the call sign "Alex" said that in Donetsk region in the Marinka, the forces of defense slowed down the storming of the invaders and captured several of them. Among the captives is a Somali citizen.

On December 30, Butusov reported that near Avdiivka, the Armed Forces fighters repelled the invaders who had lost positions and gained prisoners. According to him, the battle was conducted by a separate presidential brigade named after Hetman Bohdan Khmelnitsky.
