Share: The Russians have accused the Armed Forces of Ukraine of allegedly carrying out a missile attack by American HIMARS on the dam of the Belgohody Reservoir. As a result of the attack, the object was destroyed and there were casualties. The Russians claim that the Armed Forces allegedly struck the reservoir dam with three HIMARS missiles. This is reported by local Telegram channels with reference to sources familiar with the incident.

According to the Russians, as a result of the alleged HIMARS attack, destruction was recorded on the territory of the dam of the Belgorod Reservoir. It is noted that several buildings with technical equipment, the lifting mechanisms of one of the locks and the crest of the dam were damaged. Footage from the scene of the incident was also shown on the network. The Russians claim that this is allegedly the result of three HIMARS missile strikes.

As a result of the incident, at the time of publication, two victims are known: an employee of the dam and a Russian guardsman who was guarding the facility. The Russians write that both suffered multiple shrapnel wounds. At the same time, according to rosZMI, after inspecting the object, it was found that the integrity of the dam of the Belgorod Reservoir was not violated due to the alleged HIMARS attack. "There is no threat of flooding to nearby settlements," the Russians write.
