Moscow under repeated attack: what targets did the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit and what does it mean — Seleznyov (video)

Share: Ukrainian weapons have again flown to Moscow and to other targets on the territory of the Russian Federation, and the purpose of the strikes is quite rational, explained military observer and ex-spokesman of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Vladyslav Seleznyov. In his opinion, these strikes are of great importance for the front in Ukraine, since it is in the capital region that the keys to the institutions involved in the war are located.

Moscow suffered from the attack of Ukraine two nights in a row, Seleznyov confirmed on the air of media NV. At the same time, the Russian capital is densely lined with anti-aircraft defenses, but this did not prevent the drones from operating. According to him, the aim of the strikes on the central region of the Russian Federation is strikes on "key institutions and organizations" related to the war in Ukraine.

These institutions are located in Moscow, so they are a legitimate target for the Defense Forces. Seleznyov answered the journalist's question about the attack of Ukrainian drones on strategic objects on the territory of the Russian Federation. The columnist emphasized that it is fair when the residents of Moscow feel the war, because they are involved in its beginning.

"Why exactly are unknown or known good drones flying over Moscow for the last two nights? [Because there are] decision-making centers, command posts, control and communication points, that is, all these institutions and agencies that are directly involved in the management of Russian troops," the columnist listed. In addition, it is noteworthy that the weapons passed through the powerful air defense system that protects the Russian capital, the NV guest noted.

"There are the S-300, S-400 air defense systems, the Pancyr S-1 anti-aircraft missile systems. That is, Moscow is carefully defended, but even despite such a dense anti-aircraft defense, good drones fly to the Russian capital itself," Seleznyov concluded. It should be noted that on the morning of October 27, it became known about the raid of drones on the territory of the Russian Federation and the appearance of drones near Moscow.

According to rosZMI, it was loud in the areas south of the Russian capital: Dubny, Serpukhove, Ramenske, Nova Moskva and the Komunarka microdistrict. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian public "Krymskyi Veter" noted that the fire map of FIRMS NASA shows areas with increased temperature near the experimental (research) airfield "Ramenske".

On the morning of October 27, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported a massive raid of 193 drones that attacked the European part of the Russian Federation. Among other things, 34 drones flew to Moscow, and four more to the Moscow region. The mayor of the Russian capital Serhiy Sobyanin assured that important objects were not damaged, but minor debris fell on the ground.
