An alternative to "Highmars": Russian small UAVs now fly at 50-100 km — "Flash"

Share: The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are expanding the range of their small unmanned aerial vehicles in Ukraine. In turn, the Defense Forces of Ukraine should do the same, said Ukrainian specialist in the field of radio technologies Serhii "Flash" Beskrestnov in his Telegram channel. According to the expert, the Ukrainian military needs inexpensive attack UAVs capable of hitting targets at a distance of 50-100 km.

Such drones require other radio communication systems, navigation, as well as size, since the weight of the warhead will be greater. "That is, a niche replacement for the expensive Hymars," Flash explained. As the specialist in radio technologies notes, it is in the mentioned radius that all the most interesting front-line targets are located, which the enemy has pulled away from the front line.
