Akhmetov brings fortification for the Armed Forces in Donetsk

Metinvest Group on behalf of Rinat Akhmetov's steel front mobilized additional resources for the construction of military fortifications of the first and second defense lines on the key areas of the combat theater. This was reported on the holding website. From the first days of a full -scale invasion of "Metinvest" joined the construction of fortifications in cities.

In coordination with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and interaction with engineering troops, priority directions of creation of defense belts were determined. In 24/7 mode, company specialists and heavy equipment are working on the erection of defense structures, which will be additional protection for locals and Ukrainian soldiers. Today, the intensity of work has increased.

The most active actions are ongoing around the clock in the Donetsk direction, where work is done together with the Donetsk Regional Military Civil Administration. "The enemy does not leave attempts to break through Ukrainian defense. The Metinvest group considers it necessary to mobilize additional resources for the construction of military engineering and technical and fortifications along the collision line.

It is a vital decision aimed at increasing the efficiency of defense structures and strengthening the resistance of Ukrainian defenders. We will defend our right to live and work on free Ukrainian land from the Armed Forces, ”Oleksandr Mironenko said. Highly qualified specialists - drivers, crane operators and excavators, as well as various special equipment - excavators, car cranes, large trucks - were involved in the construction of fortifications at the same time.

In addition to the involvement of equipment and employees, during the creation of zones of defense "Metinvest" conducts earthworks, provides building materials, wood, as well as mobile steel shelters - its own development of a company, which is installed underground and protects against shelling. "Today, every business, following the example of Metinvest, must mobilize all resources to prevent the enemy's promotion.

In total, from the beginning of the full -scale war, Metinvest was sent to support Ukraine and Ukrainians UAH 4. 2 billion. Of this amount, more than UAH 2 billion is the assistance to the soldiers within the Military Initiative "Rinat Akhmetov Steel Front".
