The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are "creating chaos" in Pokrovsk: how the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation can save the city, says an analyst (video)
The Russians searched for a weak point in the defense of Pokrovsk for several months and finally found it in the area of the settlement of Zvirove, said Roman Pohorily, an analyst of the DeepState project. Today, the city is infiltrated by Russians, it is not clear where exactly they are hiding, and units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine come across them in the most unexpected places during rotation, the analyst said.
According to him, Pokrovsk can still be saved, but for this we need not special forces, but a whole brigade of the Defense Forces with all the weapons. In order to knock out the enemy from the railway area in the center, the command of the Armed Forces invited a group of special forces, the analyst explained.
The special forces knocked out the saboteurs, but this did not affect other Russians, as they "spread" around the city and interfere with logistics, rotation, and the withdrawal of units of the Armed Forces. In order to save Pokrovsk, it is necessary to act as during the rush of the Russian Federation near Dobropilly — first to block, then to destroy, the representative of DeepState believes.
"It is necessary to establish stronger and more stable forces in order to implement the blockade, and then, accordingly, to carry out the cleaning of those existing forces that cannot do anything in order to somehow return, to survive," Pohorily explained. The analyst noted that the probable weak point of the defense of Pokrovsk was that the commander of the unit of the Armed Forces, who was at the site in Zvirovo, did not inform the command about the real situation.
For example, he assured that he controls the positions, but in fact he no longer does. Later, Shevchenko, Kotlyna and the railway track near Kotlyna were added to the breakthrough in Zvirovo. The Russians are being attacked by EW units, mortars, artillerymen, and infantrymen, added Pohorily. A large part of Pokrovsk is marked in gray on the map, not red, because the Russian Armed Forces have been spotted in that area, but have not yet established themselves.
The only precise area under the control of the Russians is on the extreme southern outskirts: the Russians move freely there, and there are no Ukrainian fighters. "They just move chaotically, once again they carry out sabotage and reconnaissance activities. First of all, they carry out ambushes, engaging in battles with rear positions, and they simply create chaos in the city, absorbing it," he said. A special situation has developed in Myrnograd, said Pohorily.
The gray zone on the outskirts of the city is expanding, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are pressing on populated areas from three sides - north, east and south (Promin, Moskovske, Myrolyubivka, Novoeknomichne, Krasny Liman, Rivne, Rodynske). "If Pokrovsk is lost, it can be said that [the Russian Armed Forces] will take Mirnograd without even being there," the expert explained.
On the updated DeepState map as of the morning of October 30, we can see the expansion of the red zone into the area of Pershii Travnya. Estimated advancement of the Russian Federation — at a distance of about 1. 7 km. In addition, you can measure the distance between the "teeth" of the gray zone, which covers three quarters of Pokrovsk — it is 5 km.
The depth of the "pocket", at the "bottom" of which Myrnograd is located and the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who hold the defense there, is about 11-12 km. According to him, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are infiltrating the city and creating "small boilers" for the units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation that are holding the defense.
