According to the People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak, the profile committee on social policy announced the poor work of the Ministry. The Verkhovna Rada on Wednesday, February 7, supported the resignation of the Ministry of Veterans of Ukraine Yulia Laputina. This was reported by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak on Telegram. According to him, they supported the corresponding decision of 302 people's deputies.

In addition, according to Zheleznyak, the profile committee on social policy declared poor work of the Ministry. "All the speakers, both from the authorities and the opposition, were distributed in the Minister's speeches," the message reads. According to Zheleznyak, Laputina herself did not appear for the report. On February 5, the Verkhovna Rada Chairman Ruslan Stefanchuk reported that Yulia Laputina's statement was received about his resignation from the post of Ministry of Veterans of Ukraine.

In addition, Stefanchuk published a relevant statement about the resignation of the head of the Ministry of Justice and reported that it would be considered in the parliament at the nearest plenary session. We will remind, as early as November 2023 the Public Council at the Ministry ofetrans called on Laputin to resign.

And in December 2023, representatives of the veteran movement expressed anxiety that people who have a connection with separatists or Russian propagandists were involved in the ministry's projects. Two weeks ago, on January 22, 2024, Yulia Laputina stated in an interview with NV that there was no conversation with her in power. We will remind, Yulia Laputina in the rating of focus "The Government of War. How did the Cabinet of Ministers coped with its work in 2023" received low grades.

According to experts, veteran policy in Ukraine needs refinement. Critically lacking staff in the field of veterans rehabilitation by different vectors. It is unregulated with the opportunity to grant the status of combatants to persons returning from captivity. Grant support programs do not work.
