Xi Jinping ordered the army to prepare for Taiwan's seizure by 2027 - CIA

William Burns urged Beijing's plans to take the island's occupation. The chairman of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, ordered the People's Liberation Army of China to be ready to conduct an operation to establish control of Taiwan by 2027. This was announced on Friday, February 3, by the head of the Central Intelligence (CIA) USA William Burns, Reuters reports.

At the same time, the CIA head noted that this does not mean that the China would capture the island by this time, but Beijing's ambitions on Taiwan cannot be underestimated. "This does not mean that he [Jinping] has decided to invade 2027, but this is a reminder of the seriousness of his landmarks and ambitions. Our conclusions in the CIA are reduced to the fact that I would not underestimate the ambitions of Si Jinping's head about Taiwan," Burns.

We will remind, according to journalist Roman Komiz, Xi Jinping is waiting for the moment to "get" Russia after the war with Ukraine. Earlier, on January 28, the US Air Force General Mike miniban predicted the US-Chinese war in 2025. Miniban stated that since Taiwan and the United States in 2024 the presidential elections will be held, the United States will be "distracted", and the head of the PRC Si Jinping will have the opportunity to try to capture Taiwan.
