Putin has to lose, and this is a matter of life and death for the democratic world - the President of Ukraine's appeal
Modi Prime Minister for the constant support of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our country, as well as for participation in the work on the formula at the level of advisers. He invited India to take part in the First Global Peace Summit, which we prepare in Switzerland.
It is very important that such a global power as India has shown its leadership in the restoration of just peace and in protecting the goals and principles of the UN Charter - this is the meaning of our formula for peace. Of course, bilateral relations were discussed with Mr. Prime Minister of India. Today he held several international meetings in Kiev. In the afternoon he met with the Minister of Defense of the Netherlands - a very subject and good conversation.
The key is the protection of our cities and villages, it is aircraft for Ukraine, the real rescue of our people from Russian terror. As well as increasing the capabilities of our army. The Netherlands is one of our most consistent partners in protecting human life and justice. In the evening he met with Jake Sullivan, Advisor to the President of the United States on National Security.
Also very meaningful, quite specific conversation about defensive interaction, and about the common political results that we must achieve. I am grateful to America for the support of our country and people, and it is vital that American leadership remains strong in protecting international law. We must be stable for different challenges, we must be farm out to overcome Putin, not to be in a situation where doubts about the strength of the event help this crazy.
Putin must lose - and it is a question of life and death for the democratic world. When he loses, the democratic world will get a good prospect for generations forward. Today I participated in a democracy summit. This is the third time this format is happening - this year the Republic of Korea brings together democratic leaders. I am grateful to anyone who cares for the preservation of peoples and the development of people despite all the difficulties, despite all the chaos in today's world.
And one more. Our Kharkiv… Kharkiv and the region have been experiencing terrible Russian blows for over two years. Saltivka rockets destroyed, other areas and streets of the city are damaged. Destroyed villages and towns in the region. Today - another blow to Russia on Kharkiv, unable to influence anything, except that Ukraine will be even more fundamentally and accurately. Five people were killed today from the Russian rocket in Kharkiv. My condolences to all relatives and loved ones.
Each wounded is provided with the necessary assistance. But this is not enough - all of them have to be aware. Kharkov requires enough air defense systems. Sumy region needs aircraft. Chernihiv and all our other regions suffering from Russian terror. These protective systems have partners. And partners need to understand that air defense should protect their lives.
