President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Denmark Prime Minister Matte Frederixen visited Nikolaev within the patronage, which the kingdom took over the resumption of the city. The head of state and the head of the Danish government inspected the building of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, which was partially destroyed as a result of the Russian rocket attack on March 29, 2022. Then 37 people were the victims of the Russian attack.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy told Matte Frederixen about the destruction that the city suffered due to enemy shelling. He informed the head of Denmark on the need to restore Nikolaev infrastructure. Denmark President and Denmark Prime Minister visited the Nikolaev Sea Trade Port and examined the oil storage tanks that were destroyed as a result of enemy rocket and drone attacks.

In addition, Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Matte Frederixen visited an individual heat station equipped with a water treatment and distribution installation. This project was implemented with the assistance of Denmark, which was one of the first to assist the city in providing residents with drinking water after the Russian aggressor destroyed the traditional water supply system from the Dnieper River.

The President of Ukraine and Denmark Prime Minister also visited one of the hospitals of Nikolaev, where wounded Ukrainian defenders are treated. Vladimir Zelensky and Matte Frederixen informed about the work of the hospital in the conditions of a full -scale Russian invasion. "It is important for us to help our soldiers to go not only physical but also psychological rehabilitation," the Head of State emphasized.
