The Armed Forces told Ukrainians how to recognize the Iranian drone of Shahd-136 by sound
The Armed Forces noted that ShahED-136 is usually flying at low altitude, so that Ukrainian air defense troops are more difficult to detect and knock down. However, during the flight, the drones give a strong noise, which can be heard at night - it looks like a chainsaw or engine from a moped. "If people hear such a sound, they should go to cover and avoid the places where these drones can be directed," Natalia Humeniuk warned.
She added that Russian troops usually attack the Armed Forces or accumulation of people, but infrastructure objects. At the same time, Iranian UAVs in the service of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation were ineffective: since September 10, Ukrainian defenders recorded more than 30 drones, 22 of them were destroyed. The dozen Shahd-136 impressed the goals, but did not cause great harm. Information about the first drone ShahED-136, shot down in Ukraine, appeared on September 13.
The Armed Forces showed the remains of destroyed UAVs on the outskirts of Kupyansk in Kharkiv region, the model was recognized by characteristic stabilizers on the wings, although the Russians changed the marking to "Geran-2". Experts said that the Armed Forces have already learned to knock down Shahd-136 with the help of air defense systems, EW and even ordinary small arms. Drones have weaknesses, but Russia uses them to tie rockets instead of rockets.
