Koshulinsky proposes to take money from the "evasion" and direct them to support the Armed Forces (video)
He noted that in an conditions where the country continues to fight against Russian aggression, the authorities should first and foremost provide proper financing for the army, not spend resources on minor expenditures. "We are talking about justice. Here's a budget is a mirror of justice. What are you from where and where do you get? - said Koshulinsky. He stressed that Ukraine has not created a mechanism of responsibility for those who left the country during martial law and did not return.
In his opinion, MPs should make a decision that will allow the state to withdraw some of the funds from such persons and transfer them to the needs of the military. "We have a huge number of people who, sorry, have betrayed every Ukrainian. I speak about men who have escaped. I can't change the soldier today because there is no one to anyone. And what do you offer? To take money from those who left? Yes, I think it is right," he said.
Koshulinsky emphasized that it is unfair when those who evade the service enjoy the same rights as the military who risk their lives. "Is it fair that they enjoy the same constitutional civil rights as servicemen who give their lives and health? Maybe they have to pay for it?" Asked the military. The politician also noted that even penalties for those who evade service cannot be considered an adequate punishment. If someone considers such measures fair, the deputies should confirm it directly.
At the same time, he emphasized the problem of budget allocation: the state budget project involves significant social expenditures, without which it could be done, while the financing of the army needs to be strengthened. The opposition indicates costs that can be reduced while the authorities emphasize social needs. Defense should remain priority: neither social programs nor a safe country are impossible without strong military.
In particular, the man stressed that the worthy salary of the military should be the priority of the state. The current level of payments for the ordinary warehouse, about 20 thousand hryvnias per month, is insufficient to meet the needs of the family. He cited the example of a military man who left high -paying work abroad, returned to Ukraine, and after three years of service he receives a minimum wage, having three children and a sick wife.
The state should create conditions for such people to focus fully on the service without worrying about the family. Summarizing, the chief sergeant stressed that providing the military should be the main task of the state, because it depends on their existence. "Everything is secondary. There will be no military - there will be no social, there will be no country. We have to remember: a worthy salary is not just money, it is a respect for society for the military," he emphasized.
