First day after the war: In the Ministry of Internal Affairs, he told what was waiting for Ukraine after victory

The document called "Safe Country" will include mechanisms for improving the criminogenic situation, ensuring the physical and mental safety of Ukrainians, as well as diverse measures for the rehabilitation and rehabilitation of veterans. The profile ministries began work on the document under the code "Safe Country", which refers to how Ukrainians will live after the end of the Russian-Ukrainian war.

This was emphasized by the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klimenko in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine, which was published on May 2. "Social, economic problems caused by war make us prepare for the first day after victory. So today we are preparing a comprehensive document - it will be either a strategy or a law on how the country will live after the war," Klimenko said.

The head of the profile ministry also told what areas of life will regulate the document "Safe Country". First of all, the document will be aimed at combating the criminogenic situation in Ukraine. According to Klimenko, it will be especially difficult in this regard to the first decade after the end of the fighting. Therefore, the country is already in need of effective mechanisms that would not allow free weapons.

In addition, it will be necessary to ensure safe stay in educational establishments, on the streets, in shopping malls, at stations and at stops. "It will be either a strategy or a law on how a country will live after the war, how to build and keep a safe environment within our country," the Minister of Internal Affairs shared with reporters.

The second point will be dedicated to the creation of new jobs and programs for physical and psychological rehabilitation of the Ukrainian military who have returned from the war zone. "Those thousands of fighters who return from the front must feel social support, psychological, and feel that the state is needed," the head of the profile ministry said.

For this purpose, he said, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has already created a new unit that will be engaged in social rehabilitation of veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war. "It is very important that the military after the injury, after the operation received help and support, realized that he would not be thrown tomorrow - then he will work for the state," the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine said.

We will remind, on May 2 it became known that the first memorial cemetery for the Ukrainian military will appear in Ukraine. The People's Deputies voted that in its territory with proper honors the fighters of the Russo-Ukrainian War were buried. And in June 2022, the media wrote that the rehabilitation center with labor prosthetics would be built in Lviv. According to the head of the profile ministry, more than 500 Ukrainians need prosthetics as a result of the war.
