"Concentration camp in a concentration camp": ex-Nard deputy collaborator Markov announced the occupation of Odessa (video)
" The former MP, who is suspected of collaborationism and treason, said about the alleged occupation of Odesa on the broadcast of the propaganda program "Evening with Vladimir Solovyov" on the channel "Russia 1", an excerpt from which was published by former People's Deputy Anton Gerashchenko. Ihor Markov said that the Ukrainian government is building fortifications in the city, because losing Odessa will actually lose the war.
"Unfortunately, Odesa is under strict occupation today, and that's all, there is a concentration camp in a concentration camp. They are preparing hard fortifications there, I understand, they understand that they have taken Odesa — and we practically won the war. "Westerners" will not particularly need Kyiv without Odesa, so the slaughter for it will be heavy, they will drink more blood for us, but the result will still be in our favor," Markov said.
Propagandist Solovyov noted that in order to occupy Odesa, it must be surrounded. "I'm not giving advice to the military on how to implement it technically. I'm talking about the result, because as long as it is under their control, Crimea will always be under threat, as well as other territories," replied the former People's Deputy, who is suspected of treason. Ihor Markov from Odesa became a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada in 2012 and joined the "Party of Regions" faction.
In 2018, the prosecutor's office charged him with crimes against the national security of Ukraine, as Markov repeatedly spoke out in support of the terrorist organizations "LPR" and "DPR" and spoke about changing the borders of Ukraine. In June 2022, Markov was informed of the suspicion of collaborationism, which was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine.
According to the investigation, in March 2022 he was in the territory of Kyiv region together with Russian troops, and also published videos in which he denied the fact of Russian aggression and claimed that the Russian Armed Forces came to "liberate" the territory of Ukraine. In May 2023, the SBU notified the former "regional" Igor Markov of suspicion of treason committed under martial law, as well as of war propaganda and denial of armed aggression by the Russian Federation.
