Metinvest Akhmetov built the first steel underground hospital in Ukraine for the Armed Forces

The Metinvest Group, within the framework of the Rinat Akhmetov Steel Front initiative, created for the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, coordinating with the East Medical Forces, the first underground stabilization point for saving the lives of defenders on the forefront. The steel hospital provides resuscitation, treatment and maintenance of patients before their discharge or evacuation to another hospital.

And all this happens near the front line in safe conditions for physicians and patients, informs the press service of the Metinvest Group. The base for the hospital were steel hunts-"hiding places", which was developed by Metinvest, modernized and constructively changed according to the needs of military doctors. The staffing of the hospital corresponds to the level of field hospitals of the second echelon (Role/Echelon 2) according to NATO standards.

Metinvest investments in the construction of a steel underground hospital and its equipment with equipment amount to more than 20 million UAH. "Medical hospital at the depths of many meters underground is the most ambitious and difficult project that we had to implement from the beginning of a full -scale invasion. Metinvest has completed the hospital with oxygen concentrators, IVL apparatus, cardiomonators, defibrillators, operating equipment and lighting, sterilizers, patient heating systems, medical furniture, etc. for a total amount of over UAH 7 million. "This underground hospital is the best of existing stabilization points. It will allow medical assistance to more than 100 patients every day, saving hundreds of lives of our heroes. I hope that the number of such objects will grow," - said Acting.
