"Diplomacy": "Hot Phase" War with the Russian Federation, can end by the end of this year - Zelensky

The President stressed that the weaker Russia on the battlefield will put Ukraine in a stronger position at the negotiating table. The whole world community must put pressure on Russia in order to persuade it to sit at the negotiating table and consider the possibility of termination of the war. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this in an interview with the BBC. "This does not mean that all the territories are being drawn by force. I think the power of diplomacy can help," he said.

The Ukrainian leader added that if the Allies of Ukraine in the West remain strong, then the "hot phase" of war with Russia may end by the end of this year. He also stressed that the weaker Russia on the battlefield will put Ukraine in a stronger position at the negotiating table. "By putting pressure on Russia, I think you can agree to diplomatic settlement," the President of Ukraine said.
