In the published roller, created on the basis of daily observations of the Center for the Forecasting of the Consequences of Radiation Accidents, it can be seen that in the event of an accident the eastern regions of Ukraine, as well as Belgorod, Kursk and other regions of the Russian Federation will be affected.
The Hydrometeorological Center noted that the Center's employees daily modeling atmospheric transfer of potential emissions using Jrodos-European online support system for management decision making in the event of emergency release of radioactive substances into the environment.
"Data from long-term weather observations in the Zaporizhzhya NPP area testify to the predominant direction of the Atlantic Air mass movement in these latitudes from west to east, with periodic displacement in the northern regions of the Eastern European Platform or southeast," the center said.
In view of this information, it follows that in the event of a radioactive cloud under the influence of air masses, the air masses will go in the north direction through plots in Poltava, Kharkiv, Sumy regions, as well as touches some of the territories of Donbass. After that, radiation will spread in the southwestern regions of the Russian Federation, including Belgorod, Kursk, Kaluga, Bryansk and Voronezh regions.
At the same time, it should be noted that the prognosis data are relevant in case of conditional emission from 25 to 28 October. Earlier it was reported that according to the "Energoatom" actions of the Russian invaders in the territory of Zaporizhzhya NPP, three times could lead to the tragedy of the scale of Japanese "Fukushima". According to the director of the company Peter Kotin, there is a high threat of atomic catastrophe.
