A powerful blow to a week, while "small raids": As Russia is preparing for a new massive blow

To spread: Russia again struck a massive blow to Ukraine on the night of June 9. The enemy has released hundreds of drones and rockets, focusing strikes in individual cities, including Rivne, which has been strongest from the beginning of the invasion. Focus, together with experts, analyzes the tactics of the enemy, its consequences and the likelihood of new attacks. On the night of June 9, 2025, Russia made a large -scale attack on Ukraine, releasing 499 air attacks.

Ukrainian air defense has disposed of 277 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and shot down 19 rockets, including all "daggers". The attack was provided by aviation, anti -aircraft missile troops, radio -electronic units (HRV), unmanned systems and mobile fire groups of Defense Forces of Ukraine. The Air Force spokesman Yuri Ignat confirmed that, despite the successful destruction of most goals, all the traits were not able to avoid the large number of attacks.

"It is impossible to knock down everything," he said, adding that there was a trash in 10 locations and falling of debris in 17 places. According to him, the main purpose of the enemy was one of the operational airfields of Ukraine. Ignati also stressed that Russia retains the potential for attacks using strategic Tu-95 and Tu-160 bombers. This night, the Rivne region has undergone the most massive attack from the beginning of a full -scale invasion.

Dozens of Shahaned and rockets attacked Dubno and Rivne. According to preliminary data, one civilian was injured. On the morning of June 9, explosions were again in Rivne region, but, according to the head of the Rivne regional military administration Alexander Koval, the civil infrastructure remained intact.

According to the expection of the General Staff Vladislav Seleznev, the last attacks of the Russian army on Rivne, Ternopil and Kharkiv testify to changing their tactics, namely the concentration of daily blows in individual cities. They now use rocket-a-morning attack on separate cities to maximize Ukrainian air defense and spray it around the country.

Seleznyov emphasizes that such tactics have the right to exist, because in Ukraine only a few regions, such as Kiev, have powerful air defense systems. The military-political observer of the Information Resistance Group, Alexander Kovalenko compares the recent attacks by "Shahaneda" in Khamed, Ternopil and Rivne with carpets bombing, where these drones play a key role. "Today, ShahED-136 is actually a Fab-250 bomb. Because its combat part of 90 kilograms is just this bomb.

Such tactics, according to Kovalenko, became systematic after the analysis of the Russians of previous results. The purpose of such attacks is to maximize the defeat of selected goals by means of concentration of means. Both experts agree that the attack on Rivne was chosen due to the presence of the Russians the possible location of important Ukrainian objects there.

Oleksandr Kovalenko adds that the Russian military command also chooses these goals because of the vulnerability of the regions because of the weaker defense of the air defense air defense compared to Kiev. The expert emphasizes the critical need for additional means of air defense from partners. An important aspect that Vladislav Seleznyov draws attention to is the need for effective counterintelligence to counteract shamed attacks and missiles.

He notes that the enemy will not spend resources on blows without confirmed target data such as military infrastructure or defense-industrial complex. Regarding the forecasting of the following goals, Alexander Kovalenko recognizes the complexity of this task. "It is difficult to predict. We see that there was a blow to Rivne this night. Many have talked about a possible blow to Kiev, but now we are watching the strikes in Lutsk, Ternopil, Kharkiv and Rivne region," the expert continues.

Seleznyov emphasizes that Russians have considerable resources to continue attacks. In particular, according to Ukrainian intelligence, up to 500 ballistic missiles of various types in Russia. They also deploy a large-scale production of Shahaneda's battle drones, as well as drones, which overload Ukrainian air defense. However, the expert notes that the Ukrainian defense forces are actively working on the destruction of Russian military potential.

"The Ukrainian Defense Forces are arriving in the Russian defense industry, which produce components for high -precision and long -range weapons. For example, blows on industrial centers such as Kronstadt or Elabuga in Tatarste. When asked about possible mass attacks of Seleznyov, the preparation for them takes from several days to a week.

Such attacks are weakened as a result of the destruction of Russian aviation during the spider web special operation, as well as the destruction of at least three launching installations of the Operations-tactical missile system "Iskander-M". He also emphasizes the importance of strengthening Ukrainian air defense and destruction of Russian starting installations. Oleksandr Kovalenko claims that a large massive blow is possible in 2-3 weeks.

At the same time, limited attacks with less ammunition will continue every 3-4 days. The military surveyer also notes that Russians can combine different types of missiles, such as "calibers" with ballistic missiles or X-59 and X-31 to compensate for aviation restrictions. We will remind, in Ukraine discuss the shutdown of mobile communication during attacks of Russian drones "Shahaned", but the decision has not been made.
