The President emphasized that by the end of the year, it is necessary to reach the figure of more than 50% of Ukrainian-made weapons for the defense of Ukraine. Also, by the end of the year, the Ministry of Defense plans to complete the first stage of the transformation of the Defense Forces and fully transition to a corps system in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In addition, the online platform "Veteran Pro" has been launched, which contains up-to-date information for obtaining housing, compensation for destroyed housing, registration of the status of disability due to war, conversion of the workplace and submission of applications for veteran sports. ""Family home" is for children who do not want or cannot be adopted for one reason or another, in particular children with disabilities. Work is being carried out to improve the prosthetics of the military, the possibility of obtaining highly functional prostheses is simplified. Viktor Lyashko informed about the simplification of conditions for training in medical facilities for combat medics and their employment in the civilian health care system. It was also about increasing salary guarantees for doctors. "In the draft budget for next year, we are adding 16 billion hryvnias to the medical guarantee program. The government is introducing a number of initiatives so that medical institutions have additional funding, especially in the frontline areas.
It is important that the heads of hospitals rationally use these additional funds and that they go primarily to increase the salaries of doctors. Calculations show that this makes it possible, for example, to pay a family doctor 35,000 hryvnias," he said. It was also about the need to raise salaries for teachers and lecturers next year.
The Minister of Education and Science, Oksen Lisovyi, reported that the ministry had certified all academic institutions - for the first time with the introduction of a new model of basic funding. "We have already allocated 155 million to academic institutions that achieve good results and are certified by category A. Next year, more than 40% of academic institutions with the highest categories will receive additional funding under the new model," informed Oksen Lisovyi.
Oleksiy Kuleba, Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine - Minister of Community and Territorial Development, reported on reconstruction in the regions. He noted that thanks to the constructed water pipeline, for the first time since 2022, it was possible to start a centralized water supply for half a million residents of Mykolaiv. They also opened the first Eurotrack from Uzhhorod and started the largest port investment project.
