In Russia, the release of drones are prepared: how are they going to use

Russian intelligence services and Rosatom Corporation are interested in the production of non-leisure helicopters, the developers say. In the Russian JSC "Horizon" declared the intention to produce in Rostov-on-Don unmanned helicopters from the second quarter of 2025. About it writes "Delova newspaper. UG" with reference to the general director of the enterprise Dmitry Grigoriev. The head of the company claims that UAV-winders will be used in several areas.

According to him, such devices are interested in Russian special services, in particular for monitoring of linear objects and areas. In addition, the company intends to cooperate with Rosatom State Corporation. The second stated direction was freight transportation, and the third - the fulfillment of tasks in the agricultural sphere.

At the same time, Dmitry Grigoriev stressed that the "realities of today" limit the use of civil aviation in the field of agro -industrial complex of Rostov region of Russia. Horizon JSC noted that at least 500 million rubles are required to implement the first stages of production. Part of the funds will be allocated by the company itself, and part will be from the regional and federal industry development fund.

The head of the enterprise also does not rule out that the project can support the partners of the company from Belarus. "I think that in 2025 we will again declare ourselves as a manufacturer of a Russian unmanned helicopter," Dmitry Grigoriev said. We will remind, in Moscow there was an exhibition of Helirussia-2024, which presented a modernized reconnaissance and auditorial unmanned Hunter helicopter from the Belarusian company "KB unmanned helicopters".
