In a lawsuit, the officials of Evpatoria stated that the expenses for dismantling the Church of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine should be covered by parishioners who visited this church. The occupying city authorities of Evpatoria on the evening of July 21 began the dismantling of the Cross Church of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. The Voice of Crimea reported about it.

"Since 2019, the Parish and the Crimean Diocese of the PCU exercised constant pressure on the execution of the decision of the Occupation Court, which issued the in absentia decision to demolish the temple. The decision states that the dismantling of the religious structure should be carried out by the community of the same temple," the statement said. Journalists noted that the court's decisions did not even execute, despite threats.

Therefore, the occupation city authorities of Evpatoria re -appealed to the Court. In the lawsuit local "officials" noted that the expenses for dismantling should be covered by the parishioners themselves. According to Ukrainian journalist Andriy Tsaplienko, the dome was now removed from the temple and dismantled the top of the church. The last service of Ukrainian priests in the Crimea took place in 2023.
