The Russian Federation attacked the city of Cherkasy with shock drones like Shahd. On Wednesday, October 23, Cherkasy Ova and Air Force reported. So, judging by the publications "Public Cherkasy", explosions in the region and the regional center were heard from 6:52 and lasted until 10am.

Later, the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Igor Storerets, reported that Ukrainian defenders managed to intercept and destroy six percussion drones, but did not do without the victims. In the Cherkasy district of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation fired objects of infrastructure. The building of the bus station in Cherkasy, the administrative building of a private enterprise and cars was damaged.

In the Zolotonsky district, the fragments of UAV damaged the roof of a private house. In addition, in the Uman district, the wreckage of drones destroyed a private garage and damaged several cars. It was without the victims. The survey is ongoing. According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian army on the night of October 23 launched 81 shock UAVs across Ukraine, 51 of them were destroyed.
